The 7-day Lemosho Route is one of the most scenic and less crowded approaches to Mount Kilimanjaro. Starting from the western side of the mountain, it offers a remote wilderness experience before joining the Machame Route.
This itinerary provides good acclimatization through gradual ascent and the “climb high, sleep low” principle. However, compared to the 8-day version, it is slightly more demanding due to the shorter duration. It is suitable for fit trekkers seeking both beauty and efficiency.
