Best Time for the Great Migration

This itinerary can operate year-round, but it is especially well suited during migration periods:
December to March – Southern Serengeti & Ndutu calving season (thousands of wildebeest calves and predator action)
April to June – Central and Western Serengeti (migration movement and rutting season)
July to October – Northern Serengeti / Mara River crossing season (dramatic river crossings)
November – Herds begin moving south again through Central Serengeti
June to October and December to March are especially popular for migration-focused safaris.
